Description
Between Seasons grew out of the liminal space between my children leaving the nest and the end of the pandemic. Life felt out of joint. Were there seasons? I wrote to express how life felt by turns emptied, upended, transformed, and rich with possibility. Within the space of five years, my children left the nest, my mother and father died, the pandemic threw its pall over everything. In my first semester back to teaching face to face, when we were still speaking as if “back to normal” was possible, I found myself writing poems born of those surreal times. Shipping included in price.
